Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was denied fair trial: SC

In reserved ruling on Wednesday, the Pakistani Supreme Court  stated that late Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was not given “fair trial” and went on to condemn and execute him. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa, who presides over nine-member bench of the highest court, postponed making decision on Monday about the 2011 presidential reference that sought to review Bhutto’s death and sentence. CJP Isa declared the brief order, saying, “Zulfikar Ali Bhutto did not get fair trial and it was not in accordance with the Constitutional  requirement of due process.”
