On Thursday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasised the importance of youth and small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), saying that investment in these two important sectors of the economy might create strong economies.
According to him, Pakistan’s socioeconomic development and advancement depended heavily on encouraging SMEs and investing in the youth. Speaking at the D-8 Summit in Cairo, he declared, “With more than 60% of our population under 30, we possess a fountain of potential, for innovation and growth.”
The prime minister emphasised that in order to realise this potential, the proper opportunities, financial resources, and skill sets have to be made available.
In a same vein, he said that his government was dedicated to delivering high-quality education, generating employment, and providing chances for constructive work through the flagship Youth Program.
