With no one to stop genocide; Over 7,000 helpless lives lost in Gaza

Palestinian Territories: In the wake of the Hamas‘s October 7 attacks on Israel, over 7,028 people in Gaza have died as a result of Israeli strikes, according to a sobering milestone announced by the Hamas-run health ministry on Thursday. This death toll is the greatest in Gaza since Israel’s unilateral disengagement from the region in 2005 and includes 2,913 children and 1,709 women. In the midst of increased Israeli airstrikes ahead of a widely anticipated ground invasion, the UN issued a severe warning on Thursday, saying that “nowhere is safe” in Gaza. With Israel striking almost every area of the Palestinian enclave in retaliation for Hamas’ stunning attacks on October 7.
