‘Will raise the voice of journalist rights on every forum’

Vehari: The Vehari Union of Journalists took out a protest rally against the arrest of journalist Siddique Jan, the bureau chief of the private news channel, on the call of the leadership of the Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists.  The participants raised slogans in favor of Siddique Jan and Vehari Union of Journalists President Mohammad Irfan Chaudhry presented a resolution condemning the arrest of Siddique Jan.  The orders were issued by the court to release Siddique Jan. President of Vehari Union of Generalists Muhammad Irfan Chaudhry, Senior Journalist Chaudhry Fayaz Hashmat, Senior Vice President Lal Deen Shirazi, Vice President Mian Hasnain Khan Doultana, General Secretary Mubasher Majeed Mirza and other participants thanked the leadership.  They said while talking to rely it is the victory of truth, will raise the voice of journalist rights on every forum and will always be the voice of the downtrodden class.
