The nation has been asured by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif that after their term ends next month, their administration will cede control to an interim setup. In a live address on Thursday, PM Shehbaz stated, “We will hand responsibility over to the interim government in August 2023.”
The prime minister reiteratedthe details of how the coalition government, which was made up of 13 political groups, was elected in April 2022. The coalition administration, he continued, “saved the state, not politics” during their 15 months in office. “[We] cleaned up the mess of four years in 15 months and doused the fire that had engulfed the economic and foreign relations front,” he stated. The prime minister of Pakistan, Shehbaz, stated that he was a solid believer that Pakistan could defeat the conspiracies it faces by working day and night. Returning to the prior administration, he said that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government had signed the most recent International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme.
