We need to take Pakistan forward: President

At the Aiwan-e-Sadr here on Friday, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid President Asif Ali Zardari a visit.

The general state of the nation and matters of mutual concern were thoroughly reviewed at the discussion.

Asif Ali Zardari, the president, underlined that everyone must contribute to Pakistan’s progress and that we must all play our part. He emphasised that in order for political parties to carry out their democratic and constitutional obligations, they must put the advancement and prosperity of the nation first. He continued by saying that we should set aside our disagreements and focus exclusively on Pakistan.

The force of solidarity and unity can overcome any obstacle, as Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said.
In the meantime, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid Chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) a visit and asked how he was doing.
