US officials to visit Pakistan to discuss Afghanistan, other issues

According to statement released by the Foreign Office on Sunday,  talks between Pakistan and the US are taking place over number of topics, including the status of affairs in Afghanistan. In an effort to expedite the consultation process, the two nations are also exchanging visits, according to FO spokesperson Mumtaz  Zahra Baloch, who also mentioned that significant US officials will  be  visiting Pakistan in the coming days. Islamabad has always held Kabul accountable for the increase in  terrorist attacks and the use of Afghan oil as means of attack against  its neighbour. Following an attack in Bannu by terrorist associated with Hafiz  Gul Bahadur’s outfit, Pakistan has also requested that the government governed by the Taliban deport him.
