US Envoy, DPM Dar discuss bilateral ties

Donald Blome, the U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan, on Tuesday made a farewell call on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

The DPM/FM congratulated Ambassador Blome on successfully completing his tenure in Pakistan and appreciated his role in strengthening Pakistan-US relations, Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release.

Dar expressed government of Pakistan’s resolve to continue positive engagement with the new US administration.

Meanwhile, The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the inter-ministerial committee for the International Conference on “Girls Education in Muslim Communities: Challenges and Opportunities” , to be held in Islamabad on 11th and 12th of this month.
According to the Foreign Office, the meeting was attended by Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of Federal Education and Training Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Chairman Prime Minister Youth Programme Rana Mashhood Ahmad, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch and the Secretary Education.
