Upper House adopts 6 bills to amend ordinances

On Monday, the Senate passed six separate bills amending  ordinances, sending them to the relevant committees for more  discussion. A bill (The Provincial Motor Vehicles (Amendment) Bill, 2023)  introduced by Senator Mohsin Aziz to further alter the Provincial  Motor Vehicles Ordinance, 1965 was adopted and forwarded to the  relevant committee. The State Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) measure, 2023, a measure filed by Senator Mohsin Aziz to modify the State Bank of Pakistan  Act, 1956, was also approved by the upper house and forwarded to  the relevant committee for further discussion. The Factories (Amendment) Bill, 2023, a second bill filed by  Senator Mohsin Aziz to further alter the Factories Act, 1934, was  approved by the upper house and referred to the relevant committee for additional discussion.
