unjab Teachers Union demands promotion of all-cadre teachers

Renala Khurd: Malik Latif Shehzad, Central President of Punjab Teachers Union, while addressing the union officials, Chief Minister Punjab Mr. Mohsin Naqvi Sahib. Mr. Education Minister Punjab. Mr. Chief Secretary Punjab and Education Secretary Punjab demanded that orders be given for in-service promotions of teachers (all cadres) throughout Punjab so that promotion orders can be made by March 31. On this occasion, Chaudhry Muhammad Afzal Bhandar, Muhammad Nasrullah,  Mian Khuda Bakhsh, Noor Ahmad Noori, Chaudhry Muhammad Ashfaq Sahoo, Mian Riaz Shahid, Dr. Wajid Ali Shah, Shahzad Mustafa Gujar Safdar Ali Shah, Chaudhry Sajid Mahmood, Rao Imran Rasheed, Muhammad Afzal Bhatti, Ghulam Razzaq Jakhar, Ashiq Ali Bhatta, Dr. Abdul Waheed Thakur, Liaquat Ali Anjum, Muhammad Zaman Watto, Mian Aftab, Rana Zahid Iqbal, Saifur Rehman, Rana Akhtar Hussain, Muhammad Adnan Bhatti and Tahir Saeed Sarwar and others. On this occasion, the central president said that salaries and pensions should be increased immediately in proportion to inflation. QR codes should be issued to hundreds of teachers across Punjab after transfer. The housing scheme for government employees should be restored, he said. The government demanded that the group insurance amount should be given to the employees of Punjab like other provinces.
