: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday denounced the terror attacks in Pakistan involving Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) using Afghan soil saying that was “unacceptable” as Pakistan was fully prepared to protect its citizens but desired to resolve the matter peacefully.
During his remarks at the federal cabinet meeting, which he presided, the prime minister brought attention to the increase in terror occurrences, especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan, which have resulted in the deaths of army, police, and civilian armed force personnel.
He saw the surge in terrorism as a plot against Pakistan since it coincided with the coalition government’s efforts to advance the nation’s development and, in spite of obstacles, the country was able to establish a Staff Level Agreement with the IMF.
