Transparency being ensured in supply of free flour: Khalid Mahmood

Bahawalnagar: Tehsildar Chishtian Dahranwala Khalid Mahmood said that free flour is being provided to the poor people for the first time in the history of the country as per the instructions of the Punjab government in the joy of Ramadan.  He said that the eligible people registered under Benazir Income Support Program and PSPA should SMS their ID card to 8070.  On receipt of confirmation, go to the respective point along with the identity card to get the flour for free.  According to Tehsildar Khalid Mahmood, 16 utility stores, 42 grocery stores and 5 trucking points have been established for 96,942 families in Tehsil Chishtian, Dahranwala, and Bakhshan Khan.  Tehsildar Khalid Mahmood has said that three bags of ten kg flour will be provided absolutely free per family and one bag of ten kg at a time and after eight days the second and third bag will be given free of cost and transparency.  To maintain, digital technology is being used so that free flour reaches the entitled people and they get relief in the best way in the joy of Ramadan. On this occasion, Revenue Officer Chaudhry Shahbaz Pasha, In-charge District Council Sub-Office Chaudhry Babar Bashir, Food Inspector  Qamar Cheema, Sardar Babar Zaman Dhillon, Reader Mohammad Azam Chaudhry were also present.
