Traders protest against rising inflation

Multan: Under the auspices of Chamber of Small Traders District Multan and Anjuman Tajran inside
Bohar Gate, under the direction of Chairman All Pakistan Anjuman Tajran Khawaja Muhammad
Shafique, a protest demonstration was held at Bohar Gate Chowk against the increasing inflation in the

money budget. The demonstration was led by District President and President inside Bohar Gate. A large
number of businessmen, including city president Zafar Iqbal Siddiqui, Sheikh Tahir Amjad, participated in
the demonstration, slogans against new taxes of 170 billion and rising inflation. Addressing the
protesters, Sheikh Tahir Majid and Zafar Iqbal Siddiqui said that the government should have mercy on
small traders and the public. The expenses have increased many times compared to the income of the
people due to which economic and social problems have arisen at home and the family system is
affected. People cross the threshold of raffia government representatives and corrupt bureaucracy. On
this occasion, it was announced that in view of the call of protest by the Chairman of All Pakistan
Anjuman Tajran, Khawaja Muhammad Shafique, across the country, including South Punjab, today at
from inside Bohar Gate. A protest rally will be held and a protest dharna will be held at Chowk Bohar
Gate.
