Trade corridor with Central Asia on the agenda: Aleem

Abdul Aleem Khan, the Federal Minister for Communications, Privatisation, and Board of Investment, stressed Pakistan’s dedication to improving connectivity on Monday by establishing direct flights to Belarus and Moscow and by creating trade corridors connecting China, Afghanistan, Central Asia, and Belarus.

According to a news release, key representatives from both nations’ communication sectors held a joint meeting with Belarusian Minister for Transport Alexei Lyakhnovich to discuss these issues.

Speaking at the event, Belarusian President Alexei Lyakhnovich invited the Federal Minister to travel to Belarus and emphasised the value of improving connection via roads and railroads.

According to Lyakhnovich, “cross-border trade is pivotal for strengthening the economy and promoting bilateral relations,” and he called the visit an important initiative.
