Mohsin Naqvi, the Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control, announced on Thursday that Sikh pilgrims travelling to Pakistan to visit their sacred places would not be charged for a visa and that they would receive one in as little as 30 minutes.
A 44-member team of Sikh pilgrims from the United States of America were welcomed to the State Guest House on Thursday by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Naqvi began a historic tour by greeting the delegation, which was led by well-known Sikh leaders Dr. Dalvir Singh Pannu, Surjeet Singh Hothi, Ranjit Singh Kahlon, and Laxman Singh, with the customary Punjabi expression “Ji Aayan Nu.”
Minister Naqvi emphasised Pakistan’s dedication to facilitating Sikh pilgrims’ easier access at the meeting.
