Terrorists ambush security forces’ convoy, Forces kill 8 terrorists

RAWALPIDSHI – When terrorists attempted to ambush a convoy of security forces in Kech, Balochistan, on Wednesday night, security forces shot and killed eight of them on Thursday.

Terrorists attempted to ambush a security force convoy in District Kech of Balochistan on the evening of February 22, 2023, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). While on alert and prepared for battle, the troops not only prevented any casualties from this cowardly attempt, but they also immediately started a follow-up operation to track down the evading terrorists using ground and aviation assets.

As a result, a sanitization operation was started on Thursday morning after a suspected terrorist hideout in the Mazaaband Range was discovered. Eight terrorists were killed during the ensuing heavy exchange of fire, and a significant amount of weapons and ammunition, including explosives, were also found. The security forces will continue to thwart any attempt by adversarial actors acting on behalf of adversarial intelligence agencies to sabotage the province’s arduously attained peace.
