Tech advancement key to efficiency: Aurangzeb

The Finance and Revenue Minister, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb of Davos, Switzerland, presided virtually over a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Rightsizing of the Government in Islamabad.

The Ministry of Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety and the Revenue Division both gave thorough presentations during the conference about their organizational structures, budgetary allotments, expenditures, and the effects of their work on public services.

The Finance Minister reaffirmed the significance of adopting technical innovations, such the deployment of automation systems, to enhance efficiency and service delivery while acknowledging the difficulties the FBR has encountered as a result of years of underinvestment.

In order to further evaluate structure, the Minister assigned the Rightsizing Committee the job of reviewing the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation & Social Safety as well as the Revenue Division.
