Targets set for investment should be achieved as soon as possible: PM

The signing of more than 200 business-to-business (B2B) agreements and a $70 million memorandum of understanding with multiple Chinese enterprises was reported to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Friday.

According to a news release from the PM office, the PM presided over a review meeting to discuss the status of ongoing projects and other initiatives under the Board of Investment (BOI).

According to PM Shehbaz Sharif, a thorough and efficient plan should be developed for the conclusion of business-to-business contracts and the execution of memorandums of understanding with foreign investors.

“To create a business-friendly atmosphere in the nation, work on regulatory reforms should be expedited. The PM stated that such goals must to be established for investments that can be made as quickly as feasible.
