Daler Jumma, Tajikistan’s Minister of Energy visited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the PM House on Friday and spoke about issues that both parties could agree on.
CASA-1000 and other regional connectivity projects were discussed during the meeting.
Both parties committed to increase collaboration in areas like energy, education, agriculture, and communications, especially land-based connectivity.
In order to take part in the Pakistan-Tajikistan Joint Commission, Daler Jumma is travelling to Pakistan.
During the Joint Commission, the prime minister welcomed Daler Jumma to Pakistan and conveyed his satisfaction with the advancements in bilateral cooperation between the two nations in a number of sectors.
The prime minister sent his warmest regards to Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, recalling his recent discussions with him in Baku and Riyadh during his trip to Tajikistan.
