SURVEY: Majority opposes Rizvi’s road blocking strategy

In an online survey, conducted by Business News, majority of the people opposed Tehree-e-Labaik Pakistan (TLP) strategy to block the roads against acquittal of Aasia Bibi.

According to the survey, 94 per cent people believed that Rizvi’s strategy was not beneficial for the common people, while 6 per cent people supported TLP’s actions.

Rivziv’s TLP blocked the major roads in Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore bringing the daily life to stand still for three days. Furthermore, the protestors led by TLP, destroyed the public properties across the country including cars, vehicles and shops.

The protestors also tortured the people including a policeman in Lahore.

On Friday, however, government and TLP reached to an agreement to end the sit-in in the country.

People on social media also criticized the sit-in by the TLP as one wrote: “Every one should register complain on citizen portal about khadim hussain and afzal qadri speeches during protest where they are talking about Hazoor Pak (s.w.a), both should be held accountable for there baseless Riwayat.”

Demanding the arrest of miscreants, another wrote: “Each and everyone must be behind the bars and should pay for what they have done with the properties of the state And ordinary people.”

Remembering the write of the state, one wrote: “Once upon a time, there was a thing called “writ of state” ; which was never there…”

Sharing the picture of a mother giving milk to her infant, one wrote: “جو تصویر خود بولتی ہو، اس کے لئے الفاظ کی کیا ضرورت.
