Strengthening alternative energy system among govt’s priorities: PM

Reiterating his government’s resolve to fortify the nation’s alternative energy infrastructure, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted on Wednesday that there was enormous potential for investment in the field.

During a meeting with the chairman of Power China, the prime minister announced that his government was implementing significant measures to reduce power theft nationwide.

The chairman of Power China expressed gratitude for the Sahiwal Coal Power Plant’s excellent quality and timely completion, referencing the Punjab and Pakistan speeds in relation to the quicker completion of development projects.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would be signed with Pakistan to enhance the power transmission network and lower line losses, the firm chairman informed the prime minister.
