Streamlining regulatory system discussed

During a meeting here on Monday, Scott Jacobs, the managing director of Jacobs, Cordova and Associates, and Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, the federal minister for finance and revenue, reviewed ideas to improve the regulatory structure.

The Secretary of the Board of Investment and representatives from other relevant ministries and divisions attended the meeting as well, according to a news statement released by the Finance Ministry.

The main topic of discussion at the conference was regulatory changes, which aim to enhance the nation’s regulatory framework to boost investment, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

In order to achieve meaningful outcomes, Jacobs proposed a full assessment of standardised processes as part of his comprehensive proposal to streamline the regulatory system.

Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb emphasised the necessity of impact-driven support in order to guarantee the successful implementation of these reforms while also acknowledging their significance.
