ISLAMABAD Murtaza Solangi, the caretaker federal minister for information, broadcasting, and parliamentary affairs, stated on Wednesday that Pakistan cherished its ties with Kazakhstan and was attempting to deepen them in a number of areas. Important topics including bilateral ties, bolstering collaboration in the media sector, developing public relations, and the regional situation were covered during a meeting with Kazakhstan’s ambassador to Pakistan, Yerzhan Kistafin. The ambassador and Murtaza Solangi reached an agreement for the establishment of state media outlets in Kazakhstan and Pakistan. He emphasised the importance of further advancing collaboration between the state media organisations of the two nations, saying, “There is a need to promote public relations and exchange of cultural delegations between the two countries.”
