Skill development vital to empower youth for prosperous future: PM

Reiterating his government’s strong commitment to young empowerment, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif called on Tuesday to prioritize education and skill development, encourage collaboration, and support entrepreneurship in order to create a resilient Commonwealth and a successful future.

“We can set the standard for entrepreneurship, partnership building, and giving education and skill development top priority by making sure that young people continue to play a key role in governance and decision-making processes. Speaking at the opening session of the Commonwealth Asia Youth Alliance meeting today, the prime minister stated, “This will guarantee that our future is in the hands of an empowered young generation.”

As a founding member, Pakistan places a high value on the Commonwealth and its institutions, the prime minister said as he greeted the attending delegates from various countries.
