On Tuesday, Senator Irfan Siddiqui, a member of the government negotiation team, criticized the PTI leadership’s inconsistent statements and voiced concerns about the PTI’s delayed written charter of demands, which has impeded talks.
In an interview, he claimed that despite agreements made in the previous two sessions, the PTI had promised to produce a written charter of demands at the next meeting. However, the PTI has not yet delivered on this promise, which has caused an unsettling delay in the negotiation process.
He stated that the government and PTI had halted their talks because the PTI has not provided its requests and that failure to do so will have repercussions.
