Severe shortage of clean drinking water in country: Minister

The Clean and Safe Drinking Water facility in Narowal was formally opened under the community involvement programme by Nestlé Pakistan Limited CEO Jason Avancena and Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives.
Speaking at the event, the federal minister described the new water filtration facility as a godsend that would give 10,000 people with 24,000 litres of clean water every day.”I thank Nestle Pakistan for providing this facility on behalf of the people of Narowal” , he said.
He claimed that Pakistan was experiencing deadly illnesses like hepatitis as a result of a significant lack of quality drinking water in our nation.
