Seven elected unopposed senators from Balochistan

The Pakistani Election Commission has declared seven senators-elect from Balochistan who are running unopposed for general seats.

Jan Muhammad Sardar Muhammad Umer Gorgaij, Ahmed Khan, Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar, Aimal Wali Khan, Syedaal Khan, and Shahzeb Durrani are the senators-elect.

Two candidates, one of whom was an Ulema from Balochistan, were elected without opposition as technocrats.

Provincial Election Commissioner Muhammad Farid Afridi of Balochistan reports that Maulana Abdul Wasay and Bilal Ahmed Khan were elected to the Ulema seat in the Senate, which is a technocrat position.
