Senate adopts motion to elect Senate House committees

Azam Nazeer Tarar, the Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, submitted a motion to the Senate on Friday, which was approved. The motion called for the Senate House Committee to be elected with members chosen from the suggested list.

Additionally, the House gave the Senate Chairman permission to reorganise the committee’s membership as needed.

The minister told the House that legislative leaders had been consulted in the formation of the eight-member group, which included members from all of the major political parties.
