Security personnel’s sacrifices would live on in peoples’ hearts: Raja Pervaiz Ashraf

Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, speaker of the National Assembly, and Zahid Akram Durrani, deputy speaker, both strongly denounced the deadly bombing in Bannu, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The bomb explosion cost many people their lives and injured a large number of people. The Speaker and Deputy Speaker expressed their profound sorrow and grief over the tragic incident, prayed for the injured people’s quick recovery, and sent their deepest sympathies to the families of the deceased. While acknowledging the suffering of the harmed families, Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf said that people would never forget the sacrifices made by security personnel.

The National Assembly Speaker and Deputy Speaker prayed that those who lost their lives may have eternal peace and solace in the hereafter. They also prayed for the grant of peace and patience to the bereaved families and the early recovery of the injured individuals.

Meanwhile, Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf and Deputy Speaker Zahid Akram Durrani on Sunday also expressed deep sorrow and regret over the loss of precious human lives as a result of the accident faced by the bus going from Rawalpindi to Skardu in Chilas.

In a statement issued here, the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly were deeply saddened by the loss of lives of the students and others in the bus.

They also expressed their grief and sorrow to the families of those who died in the accident.

The Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly prayed to Allah Almighty to raise the ranks of those who died in the bus accident, speedy recovery of the injured and give patience to the families to bear this irreparable loss.
