Saudi FM-led delegation on Pakistan visit

A high-level team from Saudi Arabia, headed by Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, has arrived in the federal capital of Pakistan on a two-day official visit, with the aim of receiving a significant investment from Riyadh (Monday).
Along with other officials, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy was met at the airport by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and his Saudi counterpart.
The Saudi FM is in Pakistan as a result of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud’s recent assurance that Riyadh would never abandon Islamabad at a meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The Saudi team is anticipated to meet with various officials while in Pakistan, including PM Shehbaz, Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, and President Asif Ali Zardari.
