For the majority of us, and many Bollywood celebrities will concur, the year 2020 was not particularly eventful due to COVID-19 becoming a pandemic. Sara Ali Khan, among many others, recently came forward and admitted that 2020 was the worst time in her life, saying that it began with a breakup.
For the uninitiated, Sara was allegedly dating Kartik Aaryan, who was her Love Aaj Kal co-star. The rumored couple, however, broke up after the Imtiaz Ali film was released. All of this occurred during her most recent appearance on the podcast The Ranveer Show hosted by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia. She stated bluntly, “2020 just got worse and worse. It began with a breakup and got worse over time.
The majority of the bad news from that year can be found online. She briefly discussed the criticism of her performance in Love Aaj Kal as the conversation went on and said it didn’t bother her much because she wasn’t doing well personally. “Occasionally, when something is really bad or when you know you deserve the trolling, the fact that it is on the internet is so incidental and insignificant in comparison to the fact that it occurred that it doesn’t really matter. It doesn’t matter what 20 people are reading about you if you’re depressed, miserable, exhausted, afraid, or anxious, the 27-year-old actress said.
The last time we saw Sara was in the Dhanush and Atrangi Re movie. The movie, which was directed by Aanand L. Rai, premiered exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar’s OTT service. She is working on a number of projects, including Gaslight, which stars Vikrant Massey. On March 31, the Pavan Kirpalani-directed movie will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar.
