Rumanza Golf & Country Club celebrates its first anniversary 

Multan: Rumanza Golf & Country Club is celebrating its first anniversary, whereas Rumanza has started its Golfing operation on 25th Feb 2022. In this Inaugural event Course designer Sir Nick Faldo along with US open champion Gram Macdawell, Rafa Cabrera Bello (Spanish Open Championship) and one of the leading players on ladies European tour Charlie Hull participated to make it a memorable event. Currently Rumanza is the Only International standard golf course in Pakistan, 1st Rumanza Open golf tournament is the Pakistan’s biggest Golf event as annual feature tournament. In this prestigious tournament, expected to attract more than 300 professional and amateur golfers from all over Pakistan. This event will highlight the soft image of Pakistan on international level and promote the sports tourism in Pakistan as well as in south Punjab. 1st Rumanza Golf Open has following 11 Categories, which are as follows, professional Over 50, Amateurs, Ladies Amateur Cat A, Ladies Amateur Cat B, junior Amateur, Seniors, Veterans and ending with Celebrity Match, for that tournament 330 Golfer has been register from all PGF affiliated clubs, For that golf open tournament registration was open till 27 Feb 2023, On 27 & 28 Marc 2023 Rumanza Golf and Country Club was open for practice for all categories of golfer, the Format of the play is Stroke Play.  Top Ranking ladies like Hamna Amjid, and Pakistan top golf players like, Muhammad Shabbir, Ahmad Baig are participating in this tournament. Rumanza golf and country club has planned the prize distribution ceremony 5th March 2023 (1700 hrs) at Rumanza Driving Ranges, this will be biggest prize Money of Pakistan golfing history, i.e 12 million.
