According to the most recent data given by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), the inflow of remittances under the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) increased to US $8.055 billion by the end of May 2024 as opposed to US $7.831 billion by the end of April 2024.
Remittance inflows in April were recorded at US$ 224 million, compared to US$ 171 million in March and US$ 182 million in February 2024, according to figures cited in media reports.
Millions of Non-Resident Pakistanis (NRPs), including those who own Non-Resident Pakistan Origin Cards (POCs), can now engage in banking, payment, and investing activities in Pakistan with the help of these accounts, which offer cutting-edge banking solutions.
Additionally, 12,960 more accounts were registered under the initiative in May 2024, totaling 702,610.
