LAHORE: Punjab Police has decided to recommend ban on mobile game PUBG after a boy shot dead four members of his family in Kahna area of ​​the city, a spokesman said on Friday.

The official said that according to the preliminary investigation, 18-year-old Ali Zain was addicted to PUBG game and he fired at his mother, sisters and brother thinking that everyone would be resurrected like this game.

 

The spokesman said that after the senseless killing, the accused slept in the lower part of the house and later hid in a village on the outskirts of Faisalabad.

After learning the details of the incident, the Punjab police has decided to recommend to the federal and provincial governments that this “dangerous game” be banned, the official said.

“The game must be banned to prevent violence.”
