Punjab government gives historical Ramadan package: Minister Bilal Afzal

Khanewal: Punjab Government is continuing to provide free flour to the citizens under the historic Ramadan package. Provincial Minister for Communications and Works and Excise Bilal Afzal and Commissioner Aamir Khattak visited the free flour points of Khanewal and Jahanian, Provincial Minister Bilal Afzal reviewed the supply of free flour on the spot and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements. He also inquired about the supply of free flour from the citizens present on the spot.  Provincial Minister Bilal Afzal, talking to the media on this occasion, said that Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has given a historic Ramadan package to the people of the province by changing the timings of free flour supply from 6 am for the convenience of the people.

The Punjab Government will deliver the fruits of the Ramadan package to the citizens he instructed.  In case of heavy rush, the number of counters should be increased. Providing free flour in a dignified manner is the right of the citizens and it is our responsibility. Commissioner Multan Division Aamir Khattak said on this occasion that the divisional and district administrations of the four districts are busy monitoring the supply of free flour in the division and the best arrangements are our first priority. The Deputy Commissioner said while giving a briefing, he said that so far more than 4 lakh bags of free flour have been distributed in the district, the number of counters has been increased at the centers where there is a rush, the DPO said that foolproof security arrangements have been made by the police.
