The first-ever ‘Chief Minister Dialysis Program Card’ in Pakistani history has been approved by Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, and dialysis patient treatment payments have been upped to Rs 1 million per patient.
Each renal disease patient would receive more than Rs. 8.5 million for dialysis and Rs. 1.5 million for diagnostics.
The CM gave instructions to guarantee free testing and medications for dialysis patients on Tuesday while chairing a special meeting to assess the status of health programs and other initiatives. She also gave instructions to keep patients receiving dialysis regardless of the situation. The establishment of more dialysis facilities in Punjab was conceptually agreed upon.
