Shehbaz Sharif, the prime minister, vehemently denounced on Friday the Israeli occupation forces’ unrelenting massacre of Palestinians and the murder of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. He also issued a dire warning that popular indignation would spiral out of control if the Zionist state was not held responsible.
“The Zionist state has committed every atrocity imaginable… Public rage is seething like lava. Nobody will be able to control the lava of popular wrath if justice is not served and the Zionist state, which is killing innocent people, is not held accountable. After the House unanimously approved a resolution denouncing Haniyeh’s death as a “deliberate conspiracy,” the prime minister addressed the National Assembly, stating that it would threaten the destruction of global peace and progress.
