PTI demands judicial commission on May 9

On Tuesday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) called for the formation of a judicial committee to look into what happened on May 9.
In an interview with the media, PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan and other party core leaders, such as Shoaib Shaheen, stated that any party has the fundamental right to peaceful protest. Concerns concerning the location of CCTV footage of the events on May 9 were also voiced.
Barrister Gohar reaffirmed the party’s position on the Public Accounts Committee chairman, saying that the subject is an internal one that would be settled after the notification is sent out.
Speaking about the DG ISPR’s recent news conference, Barrister Gohar stated, “I will read the statement and then comment.”
