Prosperity of Balochistan, among top priorities: President

President Asif Ali Zardari reaffirmed that the advancement and prosperity of the province of Balochistan and its citizens ranked among the administration’s top goals.
He also declared his intention to put Balochistan on the path of wealth and progress and to contribute appropriately to the stability of Pakistan.

According to a press statement from the President Secretariat Press Wing, the president was speaking at a banquet held in his honour and hosted by Chief Minister of Bangladesh Mir Sarfaraz Ahmed Bugti.

The president stated that because of its extensive coastal strip and natural resources, Balochistan has a special significance.

He emphasised the need for contemporary approaches to explore natural resources in the provinces and stated that the globe was progressing rapidly.
He declared that their goal would be to use efficient irrigation techniques to make the province’s uncultivated areas cultivable, enabling them to generate a sufficient amount of crop yield.
