Multan: Department of Sociology Baha-ud-din Zakaria University Multan and Young Pakistanis Organization under the auspices of Sports Complex BZU Multan at the end of the annual two-day sports gala prize distribution ceremony was held in the seminar hall Department of Sociology Multan chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Kamran Ashfaq welcomed former Chairman Overseas Pakistanis Commission Multan Makhdoom Shoaib Akmal Hashmi, Chief Executive Rise AG Group Pakistan Ghulam Fareed, President Young Pakistanis Organization Naeem Iqbal Naeem, Rashid Abbas Khan, Advocate Muhammad Faizan, Dr. Saima Afzal, Dr. Tehmina Sattar, Dr. Shafaq Ayoub, Syed Ahmed Gilani and Dr. Rana Zahid while speaking on the occasion, the guests said that sports keep the new generation physically and mentally fit and energetic where sports fields are populated, hospitals are deserted and mobile phones are abandoned and as the internet has taken the new generation away from physical exercise sports, the sports gala is the most effective means of attracting the youth back to sports. Competitions between cricket, badminton, football, 100 meters race, tug-of-war and trophies, medals and certificates were distributed among the winners, runners-up and participating students. Among the teachers and students of Sociology BZU Multan, chief announcer Ahmed Geelani, head organizer Saad Usman, sports supervisor Samir Sajjad, while Zainab Khan and Fariha Jabbar, who represented the students, distributed prizes and gifts in the ceremony.
