President, PM reiterate resolve to wipe out terrorism

On Wednesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari conveyed their sorrow over the deaths of 12 members of the security forces in a terrorist attack in Bannu.

Both the president and the prime minister praised the military personnel for their sacrifices and the killing of six terrorists in the process of protecting the nation in remarks that were released separately.

The president reaffirmed the country’s determination to eradicate terrorism from the country and stated, “The whole nation salutes the soldiers for sacrificing their lives for the security of their motherland.”

Additionally, he asked Allah Ta’ala for the martyrs’ ranks to be raised in heaven and for the grieving families to have the fortitude to endure the loss.
