President, PM discuss political and economic situation

During their meeting  on Tuesday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Zardari reaffirmed their commitment to guiding the nation through its current difficulties.

According to a news release from the President’s House, they talked about the nation’s general political and economic circumstances during the discussion.

Discussions about how to provide aid to the masses during the Holy Ramadan were also discussed at the meeting.

In the meantime, President Asif Ali Zardari praised the security forces on Tuesday for their effective action in thwarting a terrorist attempt at the Turbat Naval Base.

In a statement, the president remarked that the security forces’ prompt and efficient response to the attack was commendable.

He also praised the bravery of the soldiers who executed the operation to clear the area and remove the terrorists.
