President, PM commend bravery of security forces

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari commended the security forces on Sunday for their successful operations in the districts of Bannu and Khyber.

In two different operations, they applauded their courage for killing eight Khawarij terrorists and apprehending eleven more who were hurt.

In separate news releases, the PM Office Media Wing and President Secretariat news Wing said that the president and prime minister honoured the sacrifices made by soldier Iftikhar Hussain and Shaheed Captain Muhammad Zohaibuddin, who were killed during the operations.

President Zardari underlined that the nation as a whole would remember the martyrs who gave their life for the homeland and that their sacrifices for the nation’s security would not be in vain.
