President pays tribute to martyred Lt Uzair Malik

On the  martyrdom of  Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik’s , President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his sorrow on Sunday. Malik had been injured in an attack on forces in the Tirah Valley.
He expressed his sympathies to the bereaved heirs in a statement regarding Lt. Uzair Mehmood Malik’s martyrdom.
He said we are indebted to the army officer who was martyred for giving his life in defence of the nation.
The President declared his intention to keep up the fight against the terrorists.
He prayed for the mourning family members to have patience and for the martyrs to rise in status.

After suffering wounded during an operation against Khawariji terrorists in the Tirah Valley a few days prior, Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik became a martyr, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also paid respect to him on his martyrdom.
