President for closer ties with Turkiye

On Wednesday, President Asif Ali Zardari urged further bilateral collaboration between Turkey and the United States in the fields of commerce, economics, education, and culture.

Speaking with Dr. Mehmet Pacaci, the Turkish ambassador to Pakistan, the president advised Turkish businesses to take advantage of the nation’s investment-friendly regulations and make investments through the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The president welcomed the ambassador and stated that there were longstanding and historical relations between the peoples of Pakistan and Turkiye, adding that the two countries had always supported and stood by one another throughout trying times.

According to President Zardari, Pakistan may gain from Turkey’s growth experience, particularly in the field of infrastructure development.
