President calls for OIC’s greater cooperation on Islamophobia

ISLAMABAD: In order to address the global problem of  Islamophobia, President Dr. Arif Alvi has emphasised the  necessity of enhancing collaboration among Islamic nations. He discussed these opinions with Ismatullo Nasredin, the   departing Tajikistani ambassador to Pakistan, at their farewell  meeting in Islamabad today. In order to address the issues of the modern world, Dr. Arif Alvi also advocated for increased scientific and technological collaboration  among the OIC member nations. The President expressed happiness with the way that Pakistan and  Tajikistan’s bilateral ties are developing gradually in all sectors of  shared interest, including commerce, energy, and defence. Regarding the circumstances in Gaza, the President expressed that Pakistan profoundly sympathises with the suffering of the people in Gaza, as Israeli forces are carrying out genocide there.
