President calls for finding solution to rising energy costs

President Asif Ali Zardari has urged the nation to come up with a workable plan to deal with the problem of growing energy prices.
He was speaking today in Islamabad with a group of the FPCCI headed by Dr. Gohar Ejaz.
It was suggested by Asif Ali Zardari that the FPCCI establish a committee and collaborate with the President’s office in order to find a workable solution regarding the payment of capacity costs to Independent Power Producers.
The President stated that he is aware of the difficulties Pakistani companies are facing as a result of high gasoline, energy, and input expenses.
