PPP always struggled for public welfare: Abdul Qadir Gilani

Multan: Pakistan People’s Party NA 158 candidate Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani has said that on the
instructions of the party leadership and people party workers, submitted nomination papers
for the by-election and now the workers should prepare for the elections, these views were

expressed with media, while MNA Syed Ali Musa Geelani, former MPA Syed Ali Haider Gilani,
the Ex-MPA Syed Ahmed Mujtaba Gilani, Malik Kamran Maral, Khawaja Rizwan Alam, Zahid
Khan, Maser Khan Baduzai, Farhan Khan, Muhammad Ismail, Khawaja Noor Mustafa, Sheikh
Ghiyasul Haq, Shahid Raza Siddiqui, Feroze Faiz, Fayaz Bhatti, Muhammad Khurram, Sami Khan
were also present. Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani further said that whenever the People's Party came
to power, it took steps on priority basis for solving the problems of the people and for
development and prosperity so that the citizens get relief in the true sense. Makhdoom Syed
Yousuf Raza Gilani during his rule, the development work and happiness of southern Punjab
including Multan Mega projects worth billions of rupees were completed. Today, if
development projects are visible in Multan, they are the prominent work of the People's Party,
which Former Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Geelani did for the people of Multan with the
interest of the caste. We are having faced with propaganda but we will continue the mission of
welfare of the people.
