Power struggle causes disarray in PTI’s ranks: Tarar

Attaullah Tarar, the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, stated on Monday that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was experiencing a power struggle that might result in the party’s dissolution or the formation of a front block.
He stated at a press conference held here that prominent PTI figures, such as Gohar Khan and Sher Afzal Khan, were adopting opposing positions on several matters.

He was sorry about the “childish attitude” that the national party, the PTI, had displayed.

Tarar counselled the PTI leaders to avoid internal politics and focus on their rightful place in bolstering the economy.
Criticising the PTI, he added that occasionally they sent a letter to the IMF and other times they requested that the European Union look into the Pakistani electoral process.
