PML-N saved country from default: Marriyum

Marriyum Aurangzeb, the information secretary for the Pakistan  Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), praised Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday for his ability to keep Pakistan out of default during the previous PDM government  and for his audacious economic decisions. She also urged opposition parties to contribute positively to the advancement of democracy. Speaking to the media outside the National Assembly, she stated  that the government and opposition parties should cooperate for the benefit of their nation and people, as the latter is currently  experiencing economic difficulties that the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz leadership can only resolve diplomatically. She suggested that PTI officials devote their time to the public’s  welfare rather than participating in protests and sit-ins, and that the opposition party should behave in a way that  highlights its shortcomings.
